The RS250 keeps the frame, the 480 mm bandwheels and the transport dimensions of the RS170, with a 15 hp engine and cutting capacity raised to 790 mm. The track widens to 1030 mm to hold the heaviest logs without play.

Who it is for

For anyone who finds the RS170 tight on diameter but does not want to move up to a 700 kg machine: farms, part-time sawmills, craftsmen who regularly mill larger timber.

In practice

It is the right call when your logs regularly pass 60 cm without ever reaching a metre. You gain 130 mm of capacity and six horsepower without changing trailer or assembly method.
