The DRG22T is an independent petrol splitter: no tractor, no mains socket. A 6.5 hp four-stroke drives a two-stage pump delivering 22 tonnes, for a full 24-second cycle. 230 kg on a 2.26 m frame.

For households producing several cords a year and for tradespeople working on their customers' land, far from any supply.

In practice

At the far end of a plot or in a garden with no power, it starts and works. The two-stage pump speeds the ram's return: on straight wood, most of the cycle runs at fast speed.
