The WoodMax PTO 20T runs off the power take-off at 540 rpm and carries no engine of its own. A 55 cm cut, 48 cm capacity, 20 tonnes of splitting force with a 6 way knife, a six-second cycle, a 2 m hydraulic infeed and a 3.2 m outfeed conveyor.

Who it is for

For holdings that already run a tractor and would rather not maintain another engine.

In practice

A 40 hp tractor is more than enough. You drop one service schedule, one fuel tank and one cold start, and you move the whole rig around the plot on the hitch. In return, the tractor is tied up for the session.
